Sales report profit calculator
Platforms show what you sold. This shows what you made. Drop in the sales report you downloaded from eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop or Etsy (or your own spreadsheet) and get your profit after fees, shipping labels and item cost, by month and sale by sale. It all happens in your browser.

How it works
- Pick the platform, then add the file. Drop a CSV, choose one, or paste the text. The page finds the header row (eBay puts a few summary lines above it) and matches the columns by name.
- Check the Columns panel. Every field has a menu, so if your file calls the sale price something unusual, point it at the right column. Only the sale price is required; dates and titles give you the by-month table and the item list.
- Fees come from your file when it has them. If the report has fee columns, tick them and they are added up. Without them, the page works out each fee with the same rules as that platform's fee calculator (standard rates: no Store, ads, Boosts or sales tax), or from the net payout column if your file has one.
- Add what you paid. Exports almost never include your cost of goods. Enter an average percent of the sale price, or type the real cost on any row; profit and totals update as you type.
- Refunds count against you. On eBay, rows marked Refund are subtracted from your sales, and the fees eBay gave back are subtracted from your fees, so the totals match what you actually kept.
- Take it with you. Download the results as a CSV with the fee, label, cost and profit worked out for every sale, ready for your own spreadsheet or your bookkeeper.
How to download your sales report
- eBay: Seller Hub, then Payments, then Reports. Download a Transaction report as a CSV for the dates you want. It starts with a few summary lines; the page skips them. Use the transaction report, not the orders report, because it has the fee columns.
- Poshmark: Account, then Order Activity, then Sales Report. Poshmark emails you a link to the CSV.
- Mercari: Seller Dashboard, then Sales Report. Pick the date range and download the CSV.
- Etsy: Shop Manager, then Settings, then Options, then Download Data. Choose Orders or Order Items and a month.
- Anything else: Any spreadsheet saved as CSV works if it has a sale price column. Add date, title and fee columns if you have them, then fix the matching in the Columns panel.
Menu names move around from time to time. If yours differ, look for Reports or Download in the seller area.
Frequently asked questions

Why don't my numbers match my platform payout?
Payouts are timed differently from sales (a sale in September can pay out in October), they can include refunds, held funds, ad fees and label purchases from other periods, and eBay and others move sales tax through the payout without it being yours. This page adds up the sales in your file and subtracts the fees, labels and costs on the same rows, so it shows profit for the period, not the cash that arrived in it.
Does it store or upload my file?
No. The file is read by your own browser and the numbers are worked out on your device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is saved when you close the page. (The site counts page visits, but never the contents of your file.)
Which columns do I need?
Just the sale price. A date and an item title are worth having, since they give you the by-month table and the item list. Fees, shipping paid by the buyer, shipping label cost, net payout, item cost and quantity are optional and make the profit more exact.
What if my report has no fee column?
Choose the platform and the page estimates each sale's fee with that platform's standard rules, with no Store discount, ads, Boosts or sales tax. If the file has a net payout column it uses sale plus shipping minus net instead, which is usually exact. For Other, fees are $0 unless a column in your file holds them.
Why is my profit higher than expected?
Because most reports have no cost of goods. Until you enter what you paid, profit is only sales minus fees and labels. Use the average cost box, or type a cost on each row. eBay's transaction report also lists shipping labels as separate rows that this page leaves out, so map a label column if your file has one.
How does it handle refunds and quantities?
On eBay, Refund rows are subtracted from sales and the fees returned are subtracted from fees. Quantity only counts the items sold (and Etsy's listing fee per item); the sale price is read as the total for the row, which is how eBay's item subtotal works.
