How TCGplayer fees work in 2026
- Commission: 10.75% of the item subtotal (card price times quantity), capped at $75 per card. The cap applies to each card sold, so a $1,000 card pays $75, not $107.50.
- Transaction fee: 2.5% + $0.30 on the order total: the cards, the shipping the buyer pays and sales tax.
- When the cap starts: 10.75% reaches $75 at a price of about $698 per card. Above that, the commission stays at $75 and only the transaction fee grows.
- Which sellers: these are the marketplace seller rates (Levels 1 to 4). Pro and Direct sellers pay different rates, so check TCGplayer's fee page if you are one.
Example: a $25 card with $4.99 shipping and 7.5% sales tax
| Commission | $2.69 |
| Transaction fee | $1.11 |
| Total fees | $3.80 |
|---|---|
| You receive (before your shipping label and item cost) | $26.19 |
That's 12.7% of what the buyer paid for the item and shipping.
