What are Chairish's seller fees in 2026?

A commission on the item's sale price that depends on your plan: Consignor 40%, Professional 30%, Premium 25% and Plus 22% on vintage and used pieces, and a 20% to 3% sliding scale for Elite and Platinum. New and made-to-order pieces are 30% (40% on Consignor).

How much does Chairish take from a $400 sale?

As a Professional seller of a vintage piece, $120.00 (30%), so you'd receive $280.00. A Consignor pays $160.00 and receives $240.00; a Premium seller pays $100.00 and receives $300.00.

Does Chairish charge commission on shipping and sales tax?

No. The commission is on the Sale Amount, which excludes taxes, duties and the shipping the buyer pays.

How does the Elite sliding scale work?

Each slice of the price has its own rate: 20% on the first $2,500, 12% on the part from $2,500 to $25,000 and 3% on the part above $25,000. A $2,000 sale pays $400.00 (you receive $1,600.00) and a $15,000 sale pays $2,000.00 (you receive $13,000.00), matching Chairish's own examples. A $40,000 sale pays $3,650.00 on the scale as written.

How do I move to a lower Chairish commission?

New accounts start as Consignor (40%) and become Professional (30%) automatically at 10 live listings. After that you can upgrade to Premium or Plus, and Elite is by invitation. Only high-volume sellers are eligible for Plus or Elite.

Does Chairish charge a payment processing fee?

Chairish's commission page doesn't list a separate seller payment-processing fee, so this calculator models only the commission. Check your plan terms before you rely on the payout.

Where should you sell it?
